Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, what personal information Albert Academy collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We’ve kept this short because the truth is short: we collect the minimum we need to respond to you, and we don’t share it with anyone.

What we collect

When you contact us through the enquiry form on our website, or by email, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, your email address, your child’s school level, and any context you provide about what you’re looking for.

We do not collect:

Payment or financial information (we don’t process payments through this website)

Sensitive personal data such as identification numbers, health information, or addresses (we do not request these)

Information about your child beyond what you choose to share with us

When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs — the kind of information any web server records: your browser type, the page you visited, the approximate region you visited from. This is anonymised and is used for security and basic site analytics.

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not run remarketing pixels.

Why we collect it

The single reason: to respond to your enquiry, and to teach your child if you become a student.

We do not use the information you share to build marketing lists, send unsolicited emails, or share with anyone outside Albert Academy. We have not, and will not, sell or rent your information to any third party.

How we store it

Enquiries received through our website are sent to a private email address at hello@albertacademy.sg, hosted by Google Workspace. They sit in that inbox until handled, after which they are archived. Student records — once you become a student — are kept in our internal records for the duration of the working relationship and as required for any business or legal purposes (for example, if you request an invoice for tax purposes).

We use the following third-party services to operate this website. Each is bound by their own privacy policies, which we have reviewed:

Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, web analytics

Resend — sending the email when you submit our enquiry form

Google Workspace — hosting our albertacademy.sg email

GitHub — version control for our website’s source code (no user data is stored here)

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

Tell you what information we hold about you

Delete your information

Correct any inaccurate information

Stop using your information for any purpose

To do any of these, email hello@albertacademy.sg. We’ll respond within one working day.

Children’s privacy

We work with children. We take this responsibility seriously. We do not collect information from children directly through this website. All enquiries about a child come from the child’s parent or guardian. Once a student begins working with us, we collect only the information necessary to teach them well — typically their name, school level, and academic progress.

We do not share any student information with third parties, ever, except where legally required.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. Substantive changes will be communicated by email to existing students and parents.

Contact

For any privacy-related question, email hello@albertacademy.sg.
